A starting size from the conventional charts - never a bike fit, and never a promise about a particular frame.
Use
The jig, the chooser and the kids chart are free to use, personally or professionally,
without an account and without asking. The conventions belong to the trade; the sheet, the
jig and the writing are this site’s.
Accuracy
The chart is verified as described on the About page, and it remains a convention:
manufacturers measure differently, letters drift between brands, and the jig refuses
outside the range both readings agreed on. Corrections through the contact page are
applied to the chart, which fixes the jig at once.
No warranty
The site is tested and it is still software. With JavaScript off the notes below the
jig carry the same conventions by hand. Nothing here replaces a shop fitting.
