About Framewright

A bike-size jig built from two independent readings of the conventional charts, kept where they agreed and honest where they did not.

Where the chart comes from

Two authors filled the same sizing grid blind – road frames in centimetres, mountain
frames in inches, hybrid letters, kids by wheel – and the jig carries only the
intersections: the part of every band both readings stood behind. Where the letter labels
genuinely split between brands, the readout says so instead of picking a side, because that
split IS the market.

What a readout is – and is not

A chart band is a starting size: the frame you walk into a shop expecting to try. It is
not a bike fit. Standover, reach and the between-sizes call are in the notes under the jig,
straight from the same two readings, and a good shop outranks all of it.

What using it costs you

Nothing: no account, no tracking. The jig reads entirely in your browser and your
measurements never leave the page.
